Everything you need to know before the appointment

 

Please take the time to become familiar with the information on the Cosmetic Tattoo Eligibility Check page and the FAQ’s page (it is your responsibility to check this information provided, if you turn up to your appointment and you’re not eligible, your deposit will be forfeited)

CONSULTATIONS AND PATCH TESTS

A patch test is required for customers who did not have semi-permanent makeup/tattoo done before, at least 48 hrs before the treatment. Please always inform me if you had any permanent make-up/tattoo done previously by another technician.
You can book a 30 minutes consultation, including a patch test in Putney Studio at the cost of 30£ (it is a separate cost and will be not deducted from the treatment price) or a consultation form and patch test can be sent via post free of charge.

ONLINE BOOKING

The web booking system allows convenient online scheduling. However,  if you book your appointment online, please ensure to contact us via email or social media to receive a booking confirmation and schedule a patch test. Online bookings need to be confirmed by a member of staff.

DEPOSITS

You will be required to pay a £50 deposit per treatment booked to confirm your appointment. Your deposit will be deducted from treatment price and you will pay the remainder of the balance at the time of the appointment.

The deposit is non-refundable for cancellation or change of mind.

RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS

I understand that you may need to reschedule your appointment. You can change your appointment without any charge, as long as you give a 48hr notice via email or social media accounts. I may refuse more than 2 re-booking requests from you without refunding your deposit. All deposits need to be used within 3 months from the booking of the initial appointment.

Appointments not attended (no shows) or cancelled with less than the required notice (48 hrs) will result in the loss of any deposit paid as cancellation fee (£50 for initial treatments,  £30 for touch-ups and £50 colour boosts) and a new deposit will need to be paid before you may book another appointment.

I have the right to refuse service to those who refuse to pay deposits or cancellation fees.

ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR

Any violence, aggression or verbal abuse towards myself or my staff will not be tolerated. Violence is not restricted to acts that may result in physical harm. It also includes behaviour or language (whether spoken, written or via social media). This may include threats, personal abuse, derogatory remarks or swearing.

In case of any abusive behaviour, the treatment can be refused, and the deposit might be lost.

LATENESS

I strongly advise arriving 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Late arrivals may mean I need to reduce treatment time or cancel the treatment with the incurred deposit price.
Please let me know if you are running late. If you are running over 20 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled, and the deposit will be lost as a cancellation fee. You will need to pay a new deposit for any future booking.

Please allow extra time for parking.

CANCELLATION FEE

Cancellation fees are as follows:

  • £50 for initial treatments
  • £30 for touch-ups
  • £50 colour boosts

The cancellation fee needs to be paid within 7 days of the missed appointment. I hold the right to refuse service to those who refuse to pay cancellation fees.

PAYMENT TERMS

All current treatment prices can be viewed on the website and are subject to change. In case of any changes, you will be guaranteed the initial treatment price and the touch-up price as it was on the day of booking.

You agree to pay the price in full (after deposit deduction) on the day of your appointment. I will accept payment via card, cash, bank transfer or PayPal only (no cheques or credit cards)
Deposits and treatment payments are non-refundable.
Treatments prices are non-negotiable.

RISK

I provide the services using the standard of care to be reasonably expected of a commercial provider of the Services and only to use materials and products sourced in Europe or the United States of America which, at the time of your treatment, comply fully with all applicable legal regulations within the United Kingdom and the European Union.
There are everyday risks of post-treatment infection (in and around the treatment area) beyond my control and for which I don’t take responsibility.
In sporadic cases, the pigment will not hold at all due to skin type. You agree that although I will endeavour to work with best practice, I cannot be held responsible for low or no pigment uptake.
Some skin may not retain the ‘crispness’ of the pigmented hair stroke, and others (although rare) may not retain the hair stroke at all as it can blur over time.

PHOTO DOCUMENTATION

Pictures or videos are taken before, during and after the procedure for reference purposes and my own records. They may be used for advertising and marketing purposes on social media sites, web pages and future teaching materials and other lawful purposes unless you sign that you do not wish your photos/videos to be used for such purposes.

CONFIDENTIALITY

I agree to keep your personal data strictly in accordance with the Provisions of the Data Protection Act 2018.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND LIABILITY

If you have any cause to complain about my services, you agree in the first instance to put your complaint in writing info@goshgoshpmu.com email address and not to publish (or cause the publication of) your complaint any more widely, whether orally to third persons, in writing to third persons or the world at large using the internet. I will investigate your complaint and respond to it within 30 days of your complaint being received. If you publish (or cause to be published) any defamatory statements about me or any of my services to any third parties (whether using social media or otherwise), then I reserve the right to claim damages against you in defamation proceedings before the court for such sum as I am advised to claim by my legal advisors.

ARE THE RESULTS GUARANTEED?

Client results will vary from person to person. Although it is effective and can last up to 2 years in most cases, no guarantee can be made about the length of time they will last. Since everyone’s skin is different, each client must understand that I cannot guarantee how long the pigment will remain in your skin. Retention depends on your skin type, texture, oiliness, and aftercare. Most clients will need 12-18 month colour boosts, but results will vary from person to person.
